At WHIPD Automobilia, our workshop and shop are at the heart of what we do. They’re where rare automobilia is sourced, researched, restored, photographed, and displayed before finding its way into collections around the world.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be carrying out a refresh of our shop and workshop space. This includes repainting, reworking displays, and making room for new arrivals. It’s part of an ongoing effort to improve how we work and how we present the pieces we care for.

As part of this refresh, a small number of items are now coming off the walls.

Ex-Display Motorsport Collectibles Available

We’re making available a selection of ex-display automobilia that has previously formed part of our in-store displays. These include framed prints, vintage signage, and other motorsport pieces that visitors to WHIPD may recognise.

Each piece has been carefully selected and displayed in our space. Some items may show light signs of having been on display, but all remain original, authentic, and full of character — exactly what collectors look for in quality motorsport memorabilia.

To coincide with the workshop refresh, these ex-display pieces are being offered at reduced prices. Availability is extremely limited, and once a piece is sold, it won’t be replaced.

How to Purchase Ex-Display Pieces

Because these items are one-off display pieces, purchases are handled directly rather than through our website shop.

All items are offered on a first come, first served basis. Enquiries do not reserve items, and availability can change quickly.

Making Space for What’s Next

This clear-out isn’t about reducing what we do — it’s about preparing for what’s coming next. The workshop refresh will allow us to better display future acquisitions and continue preserving motorsport history in a way that does justice to each piece.
